Saturn peaches are a variety of peach with white flesh.[1]

Saturn peaches are smaller and flatter than a regular peach. Their skin is yellow and red. They are usually less fuzzy than ordinary peaches.

They are harvested in late spring through the end of summer.[2]

They are sweeter than regular peaches, with a hint of almond.[3]

They are known by many other names, including doughnut peach,[4] paraguayo peach, pan tao peach, saucer peach, belly-up peach, and UFO peach.

They were introduced into the U.S. from China in 1869. These "flat" peaches gained popularity in the 1990s.[5]
