| Doral Academy Preparatory High School is a charter middle/high school located in Doral, Florida, USA. Doral Academy was recently[when?] voted as one of the nation's "Best 400 High Schools in the Nation" in the December issue of US News & World Report.[1] Doral Academy Charter Schools are fully recognized public Middle and High schools. Doral Academy Charter is a non-profit, independently managed academic organization, approved and monitored by the local school board. Unlike a private school, wherein parents must pay tuition, Doral Academy is funded by the Florida Department of Education and provides free education to any student eligible to attend public school in the Miami-Dade County School District.
