Doritos Crash Course 2 is a 2.5D sidescrolling platforming advertgame developed by Behaviour Interactive that was released for free on Xbox Live Arcade on May 8, 2013. It is the sequel to Doritos Crash Course.

Gameplay[edit]

Players must get their Xbox 360 avatars through increasingly difficult obstacle courses. The game consists of four fields of Amazon, Antarctic, Egypt, and Pirate Island, each with their unique style to make the player's avatar wipe out in anyway possible.

Stars and coins[edit]

In the original Doritos Crash Course, players unlocked levels by simply playing them; the case is not the same here. In Crash Course 2, players must now collect "stars" in the game, which are used to unlock levels, buy power-ups, and have avatar effects to change their Avatar's appearance in-game. Coins are another type of token which players can buy for Microsoft Points and are used for the same purposes as stars.

Shutdown[edit]

Doritos Crash Course 2 was removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace in April 2014. Microsoft has announced that the game's online servers will remain open until October 15, 2014.

Reception[edit]

Doritos Crash Course 2 has received mixed to average reviews, scoring a 6.6 out of 10 from User Score in Metacritic.[1]
