Dreamland (Fallujah, Iraq)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Dreamland, Iraq)
Once a Baathist resort in Iraq, Camp Dreamland is now the smaller of two major U.S. bases maintained just outside Fallujah. It sits adjacent to a large former Mujahideen-e-Khalq compound, which is now the main U.S. base for forces in Fallujah.
The base was formerly an opulent fortress where Qusay and Uday Hussein would stay.
Despite going by several different base or camp names under different U.S. units, Dreamland is often still referred to by U.S. soldiers by its original name. There is also a 2006 documentary film following 82nd Airborne soldiers based at Dreamland, called Occupation: Dreamland.
