Dress clothes
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dress clothes are clothing that is less formal than formal wear but more formal than casual wear.
[edit] Summary
For men, this includes items like a necktie, a dress shirt, trousers, dress socks, dress shoes, and underwear.[1] For women, this includes either slacks, a skirt and a blouse, or a dress, knee highs or pantyhose (full cut panties are strongly recommended if one is wearing knee highs), makeup, and high heeled shoes.[1]
These are usually worn for night outs or in white collar work environments such as offices. Other appropriate places include graduations, Bar Mitzvahs, Bat Mitzvahs, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, visits with the in-laws, and at funerals.
