Dubai Exhibition City

Dubai Exhibition City will be built within Jebel Ali International Airport, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Spanning over 3,000,000 sq ft (280,000 m2) the whole project is expected to cost AED 8 Billion. Dubai Exhibition city will be built in phases and the first phase is due for completion in 2009, which encompass an area of 100,000 Sq meters and endow a parking space for more than 20,000 cars. The final phase is expected to be completed in 2020. The project includes 19 exhibition halls, office, entertainment and retail spaces, and hotels and restaurants.

Dubai exhibition city upon completion will home to worlds longest single column-free exhibition hall in the world, which will cover an area of 85,000 Sq meters. The first phase, which is expected to be completed by 2009, will host Dubai Airshow.

In first quarter of 2009, work on Dubai Exhibition city has been suspended due to lack of flow of finances.
