Durrës County (Albanian: Qarku i Durrësit) is one of the 12 counties of Albania. It consists of the districts Durrës and Krujë and its capital is Durrës. The city is 40 minutes away from Tirana, Albanian capital, by car. It has the largest sea port in Albania.
Durrës' entire western edge is the shoreline of the Adriatic Sea. It borders the following counties:

Durrës County has grown in importance in agriculture with very large-scale planting of olive and fruit trees, and the city has become center of the food processing and oil export industries.
Tourism has become a major industry in recent years, with many hotels, recreational centers, and vast beaches.
