The District of Durrës (Albanian: Rrethi i Durrësit) is one of the thirty-six districts of Albania, part of Durrës County. It has a population of 242,801[1] (2010 estimate), and an area of 433 km². It is in the west of the country, and its capital is Durrës. The district consists of the following municipalities:
