EGO Magazine is an online magazine geared towards the Desi [South Asian] diaspora. It publishes articles on issues dealing with culture, fashion, design, travel & entertainment. It also has sections that deal with economic & political issues and translations of Urdu and Hindi poetry. A highly popular online magazine, it is read by over 35,000 regular readers a month from over 55 countries and is particularly popular in the United States, Canada, Britain and Australia.
EGO was started in Dec 2003 by Ayesha Khanna and is headquartered in Manhattan, New York
