- The software is released under the GPL and contains no spyware or adware. It's free to download and use.
- eMule Plus has its own team of translators and beta testers working on the application and translated eMule Plus to 31 languages.
- eMule Plus IRC channels provide additional help in many languages (irc.emuleplus.info).
- Improved WebServer (HTTP access to the client) with optimized and compatible templates and other features.

- A fake illegal clone of eMule Plus exists called eMule++ based on old eMule Plus source code. Its use is not recommended, as it is a non-GPL compliant software containing harmful extensions.
- Beware scam websites! There are quite some scam sites trying to sell eMule Plus, pull personal user information or spread modified versions which could contain harmful software. Such sites are distributed even through Google Ads. Here are few examples -- www.emule.com, www.tntdownloads.com, www.emule--it.com.
