2nd Avenue (formerly ETC 2nd Avenue) is a Philippine television network produced and founded by Solar Entertainment Corporation which also created its sister stations, Universal Channel, Talk TV, Diva Universal, ETC, Jack TV, Basketball TV, Solar Sports, The Game Channel and CHASE. It carries a schedule of mostly newer broadcast and cable dramas and sitcoms imported from the United States, along with infotainment programming from that country in the daytime hours.
As of January 1, 2008, 2nd Avenue ceased to air over SkyCable. However, it is still available over RJTV 29 (Channel 19 on SkyCable and Channel 29 on Global Destiny Cable). Dream Satellite TV had stopped airing the channel effective February 2009.[1] 2nd Avenue returned on Dream Satellte TV on channel 21 effective May 1, 2009 but removed on October 2011.
