ETC (stylized as etc, formerly ETC Entertainment Central) is a major commercial television network in the Philippines. It is owned by Southern Broadcasting Network and Solar Television Network It is currently the flagship television station DWCP-TV UHF channel 21 in Mega Manila and other regional stations in the Philippines. Operational 17 hours a day from 7:00 AM - 12:00 MN on free TV and while operation 24 hours a day and 7 days a week on cable, satellite and internet TV providers.

Its broadcast facility and studios are located at Solar Media Center, Upper Ground Floor of the Worldwide Corporate Center, Epifanio de los Santos corner Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City and transmitter are located at Strata 2000, F. Ortigas Jr. Road, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.


On August  23, 2004, ETC launched as "Entertainment Central", a female-oriented cable TV channel broadcast on various cable and satellite providers.

On January 1, 2008, ETC ceased to air over SkyCable as a separate channel. As part of block-time agreements with various terrestrial channels, ETC distributes programs over SBN 21, a terrestrial UHF TV Station in Metro Manila and selected cities in the Philippines.

On March 2, 2011, ETC had moved to RPN after the network was privatized. SBN 21 changed to Talk TV, now Solar News Channel.[1][2][3]

On November 30, 2013, ETC will return to all SBN stations while Solar News Channel transfers to all RPN stations the following day.[4][5]


ETC's programming consists of talk shows, dating shows, sitcoms, drama series, reality shows and entertainment news debut foreign from the United States. The network also promotes upcoming movies and sponsors events, particularly parties around the Philippines. programs dedicated for the local newscasts, and other entertainment, reality, sports and religious programs such as blocktimer.[citation needed]

According to Kantar Media/TNS, ETC is the top-ranked local female and entertainment-oriented television network in the Philippines with Cable and Free TV ratings combined (January 1 – May 31, 2012) with a 10.33% audience share (Free TV+Cable).[6]
