Richard "Riz" Harcus (born 1976), (also known as Eastborn), is a rapper and Community Worker, originally from Edinburgh but currently based in Glasgow.[1] He was once called by The Daily Record and other online websites, at the time of his debut album, as "the most popular Scottish Hip Hop artist of the time" with exposure and distribution across the globe and shows in almost every continent of the globe.

His Debut album Word Perfect featured some of Scotland and the UK's most influential artists at the time, both with production, engineering and DJ's.

Since then Eastborn has worked with various charity organisations and pledged money from downloads to WarChild.org, Children First, Oxfam, and various others and sits on various Child Aid forums to assist where he can. Drop Zone Records, the label in which he owns outright, also helps with charities in Dnipro (Ukraine), Palestine, Thailand and Uganda.

Eastborn now balances his time between Youth Work and Music. He also sponsors a boys football team "Jenniburn Juniors" buying them there new strips and coaching them to the recent South East Area Championship 2011 (Glasgow). He also work with Young People delivering Drugs and Alcohol advise and diverts young people to be better "positive destination".

Eastborn has travelled to Beijing,[2] Canada, USA, Australia and most of Europe.

Drop Zone Records,[3] has worked with local talent and International artists such as Loki, Respek BA, Project Mayhem, The 13th Tribe, Scotland Yard, Bright Sparks, Canibus, PaceWon, 60 Second Assassin (Wu Tang Clan), Ugly Duckling, Prince Po as well as others.
