ebase is free and open-source software[citation needed] Customer relationship management software for small to mid-sized non-profit organizations on Windows and Mac. Built using FileMaker Pro, ebase is currently maintained by a national community of volunteers in conjunction with Desktop Assistance in Helena, MT.

Current versions are available at a volunteer's FTP server
The ebase community site, accessible to users that have made a (monetary or volunteer) contribution, includes a user support forum, discussion & planning for future revisions, supplemental documentation available for download, and a collection of articles on using and administering ebase (the knowledge base).

The code is released under "a version of the Berkeley Open-Source License".[1]

A new version, based on the features of version 2.20 but built for FileMaker Pro v. 9, is under development.
