Eddie Galan (born February 4, 1979) is a Los Angeles born singer/musician, and is a 18x Multi-platinum selling songwriter and record producer with 5 #1 charting albums. He studied film production at Occidental College in Los Angeles and began a successful career in music songwriting and production right out of college. Galan is the President of Los Angeles based Mach 1 Music.

2006–2008

Galan was one of the producers of the High School Musical soundtrack, co-producing and singing on the B5 version of "Get'cha Head In Da Game". The album topped the Billboard 200 chart^{[citation needed]} and was certified quadruple Platinum by the RIAA.

Galan co-produced and vocal arranged B5's "Shining Star" on Disney's Hannah Montana soundtrack, an album which topped the Billboard 200 and has been certified triple platinum by the RIAA.

Galan also co-wrote and produced The Clique Girlz's "Incredible", which was used as the theme song for the 2008 Beijing Olympics^{[citation needed]} as well as being a featured song on the 2008 Olympics Team USA Soundtrack.^{[citation needed]}

2009–2010

Jan 2010, for National Grammy Career Day, Galan was a member of the Grammy's Producer's panel, alongside Jimmy Jam, Keri Hilson, Danja Handz, and Anthony Hamilton.

Recently, Galan has collaborated and is working with a wide variety of established acts, including Danja Handz, Akon, Jacob Latimore (Jive Records), Jordan Knight of New Kids On The Block, Backstreet Boys, El Debarge, Cymphonique, Stephen Jerzak (Universal Republic), The Cab (Warner), TV TV (Jive), Ryan Cabrera, AllStar Weekend (Hollywood), School Boy Humor (Vagrant), He Is We (Universal Motown), Manny Streetz, Raven Symone, Jasmine Villegas (Epic), Jon B., Frankie J.

In 2009, Galan placed three cuts on Mitchel Musso's debut self-titled album, "Us Against The World", "Movin In" and "Stuck On You". He also had success internationally with multiple major label placements in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, and Mexico, where Galan has produced "Freakshow" for debut artist Victoria. The single became a new Top 10 hit in Mexico in its first 2 weeks on the charts.

2011

Galan's Mach 1 Music has taken off to new levels in 2011. With major label releases on Jordan Knight, BoA, Lil Eddie, Allstar Weekend, Mayra Veronica, Too $hort, Varsity Fanclub, O-town and more.

Galan has worked on projects for Menudo, Colby O'Donis, Jacob Latimore, Backstreet Boys, Jordan Knight, and many other top major label acts, as well as having his music placed on such TV shows as MTV's The Hills, MTV's "Next", "Keeping Up With The Kardashians", and many more.
