Edison Giménez (born 5 April 1981 in Paraguay) is a Paraguayan football player, who currently plays forward for the Paraguayan club Olimpia Asunción. He previously played in his native county of Paraguay for Club 2 de Mayo before being signed by Colo-Colo of Chile for a fee of $400,000 for his services prior to the beginning of the 2007 Chilean Apertura.[1] He scored in his debut for Colo-Colo on 28 January 2007 against Melipilla. In 2006 he capped for his country, Paraguay, against Chile and scored a goal in the 3-2 loss.
