Effective Development Group (EDG) [1] is an independent project management and consultancy firm with a focus on assisting aid practitioners worldwide to design projects and implement monitoring and evaluation systems. EDG is based in Canberra and was formed in late 2003 as a response to concerns about the development effectiveness of projects and programs that have been implemented with bilateral and multilateral support.
