Efraim Movement is a small sect in the Netherlands begun by Heinrich van Geene (born 1936) that emphasizes the Rapture. It began as an offshoot of Pentecostalism, but Van Geene declared God said he was the only Prophet left. There were also indications he felt the Rapture would begin in 2001 and be fulfilled in 2096 with the end of the world. This inspired some media attention in the Netherlands as it was feared they would do something drastic. Many of these fears were based on misunderstanding and were overblown, but the group does have detailed calculations concerning what they deem the end times.
