Eighth Street Elementary School is an elementary school in Ocala, Florida. The school is located at the corner of Eighth Street and Tuscawilla Avenue in Southeast Ocala, near the residential Ocala Historic District. The building was designed by Lee Roy Sheftall and built by F.W. Long & Co. in 1914. The school first opened as Ocala High School. Ocala High School moved to a larger facility next door in 1925 (now Osceola Middle School).
Tuscawilla Avenue is known as Helen Ingrao Avenue next to the school, in honor of the popular Principal from 1982 to 2002, who died unexpectedly in 2002.
