[edit] Jim Steinman
Over the years Caswell has sung on demos for composer and lyricist Jim Steinman, many of which have been released to the public. These include demos for the songs "Braver Than We Are", "Vampires in Love" (this is the duet version of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" featured in Dance of the Vampires) and a minor part on the demo for "In the Land of the Pig The Butcher Is King".
[edit] Pandora's Box
Caswell was one of the four listed singing performers on the 1989 album Original Sin, by the group Pandora's Box. The album was produced and, except for two songs, written by the group's creator Jim Steinman. Caswell sang lead vocals on the original releases of the songs "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" and "It Just Won't Quit". Although the album was not a commercial success, both of the songs Caswell sang later found success with other singers. "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" was a hit single for Celine Dion in 1996, when it was the BMI Song of the Year. "It Just Won't Quit" was a track, not released as a single, on the multi-platinum album Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell sung by Meat Loaf. Caswell was featured in the music videos for Pandora's Box, including the video for "It's All Coming Back To Me Now".

Caswell was one of the singers for The Dream Engine, a music performance group that performed and recorded the work of composer and lyricist Jim Steinman. This project has not performed or been active in public since 2006, aside from having a website and myspace page.
