Elaine Ng (traditional Chinese: 吳綺莉; simplified Chinese: 吴绮莉; pinyin: Wú Qǐlì; Cantonese Yale: Ng4 Yi2lei6, born on September 23, 1972 (sometimes credited as Elaine Wu) is an actress and was the winner of Miss Asia 1990.
She announced that she was pregnant in 1999, and disclosed the affair with Jackie Chan after public speculations. Soon afterwards, Jackie Chan responded by admitting he had "only committed a fault that every single man in the world commits"[1][2][3] She gave birth to a daughter, Etta Ng Chok Lam, on November 19, 1999. However, Elaine decided she would take care of her daughter without Jackie Chan.[4]
