Tuvalu elects on national level a legislature. The Parliament of Tuvalu (Palamene o Tuvalu) has 15 members, elected for a four year term in 7 double- and 1 single-seat constituencies. Tuvalu doesn't have political parties. At the last elections, 3 August 2006, only non-partisans have been elected.
