Elizabeth Astor, Baroness Astor of Hever
Elizabeth, Baroness Astor of Hever (born May 4, 1950) was the second wife of John Jacob Astor VIII.
She was born as Elizabeth Constance Mackintosh, the daughter of John Mackintosh and Bronda Fibigor.
Lady Astor worked as a head hunter before her marriage to Lord Astor. She is the author of a novel, "Since you went away", and raises funds for the Parkinsons UK and the National Autism Society.
Marriage and family
She has been married three times, firstly to Timothy Cutting and secondly to Nicholas Chagrin before her marriage in 1990 to John Jacob Astor VIII.
Lord and Lady Astor have two children:
- Charles Gavin John Astor (born November 10, 1990)
- Charlotte Olivia Alexandra Elizabeth Astor (born August 21, 1992).
