Elizabeth C. Traugott

Elizabeth C. Traugott is an emeritus professor at Stanford University. She has written about syntax, pragmatics, semantics, lexicalization, socio-historical linguistics, linguistics, and literature. She is currently working on constructionalization, especially ways to bring the theories of grammaticalization and construction grammar to bear on accounts of micro-changes.
