The Elmwood Historic District–West is a historic district located in central Buffalo, New York. The district, roughly bounded by Summer Street, Richmond Avenue, Elmwood Avenue and Forest Avenue, comprises about 2,000 structures.[2] It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.[1]

The district was built between 1867 and 1941 around part of the Buffalo Parks and Parkways system. It represents Buffalo at the turn of the 20th century.[3]
