Ely Cissé (born 22 January 1986) is a Senegalese footballer who currently plays for Fanja SC in the Omantel Professional League.[1]

Club career[edit]

Ely began his professional career in 2005 with US Gorée. He scored sixteen goals in twenty league appearances.

In 2006, he moved to Saudi Arabia where he signed a contract with Al-Qadisiyah FC. He scored ten goals in twenty league appearances.

After a brief one-season spell in Saudi Arabia, he moved back to Senegal where he played for ASC Linguère. He helped the team to win the Senegal FA Cup in 2007 and scored twelve goals in fourteen league appearances.

In the same season, he moved to Turkey where he signed a contract with Kasımpaşa Spor Kulübü. He scored seven goals in tnety seven league appearances.

After a brief spell in Turkey with Kasımpaşa, he moved to Azerbaijan where he signed a contract with Baku FC. He helped his team to win the 2008–09 Azerbaijan Premier League scoring three goals in nine league appearances.

At the end of the season, he moved to Morocco where he signed a contract with MAS Fez. He scored twelve league goals in his two-seasons spell with the club.

After a brief two-seasons spell in Morocco with MAS Fez, he moved to Oman where he signed a contract with Al-Tali'aa SC. He scored ten goals in twelve league appearances. In 2011, he moved to Fanja SC and helped his team to achieve the second place in the 2012–13 Omantel Elite League, helped to win the Omani Super Cup in 2012 and achieve the runners-up position of the same in 2013.[2]
