The England national field hockey team represents England in international field hockey. The team finished in fifth-place in the 2006 Men's Hockey World Cup in Mönchengladbach, Germany.
England won the gold medal at the 1908 Summer Olympics in London. Their best placing in a World Cup was as runners-up to champions Australia in 1986, which was also held in London. They won the bronze medal at the inaugural Commonwealth Games field hockey tournament in 1998, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
