Enzo Riccardo Campagnolo (Ithaca, New York, September 12, 1958) is a public health veterinarian and epidemiologist who works in the areas of agro-terrorism and emergency preparedness. His Italian ancestry can be traced back to the city of Fondi, in province of Latina, region of Lazio (Latium), Italy.

He graduated from Ithaca High School, Ithaca, New York in 1975, then attended and graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biological Sciences in 1979. He attended the University of Naples, Naples, Italy and then the University of Perugia, Perugia, Italy where he obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) in 1988 (B. Baldelli advisor). His veterinary doctoral thesis was entitled "Presenza di oocisti da Toxoplasma gondii nelle feci di gatto esaminate in laboratorio nel corso di un anno". He then attended the University of Illinois at Springfield, Springfield, Illinois where he obtained a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in 1997 (R. Imeokparia advisor). His Master of Public Health clinical project was entitled "A computer-based compendium of the major selected zoonotic diseases of public health importance"). He is a graduate and alumni of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Epidemic Intelligence Service (1998) and has publications on diverse zoonotic diseases, non-zoonotic disease, and chemical exposure outbreak investigations. Some professional positions he has held include Area Veterinarian in Charge (AVIC), Area Epidemiology Officer (AEO) and Regional Epidemiology Officer (REO) for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS). He is currently an epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.
