Eréndira is a 1983 Mexican drama film directed by Ruy Guerra. It was entered into the 1983 Cannes Film Festival.[1] It is based on the short story The Incredible and Sad Tale of Innocent Eréndira and Her Heartless Grandmother by Gabriel García Márquez.
