Erdgas Arena

Erdgas Arena is an arena in Riesa, Germany. It is primarily used for ice hockey. Erdgas Arena opened in 2004 and holds 5,500 people. It is also used for many world level dance competitions called the World Dance Championships run by the International Dance Organization. They run the Showdance and Tap Dance competition where as many as 50 different countries vie to become "World Champion". It brings in remarkable talent which is spectacular to watch. This is the only official world championships and is recognized as being "the Olympics of dance".
