Eric W. Schwartz is an American cartoonist; the creator of Sabrina Online, a furry webcomic, and Amy the Squirrel, an unofficial mascot for the famous Amiga computers. He attended the Columbus College of Art and Design, majoring in illustration.[1]

Schwartz is a noted fan of the Amiga operating system, and made several well-known animations with it, repeatedly winning the international Bit.Movie computer graphics and multimedia competition.[2]

Schwartz works close with Malcolm Earle aka Max Black Rabbit, creator of Zig Zag. He has created a number of mascot characters with Bill Panagouleas under contract for DiscreetFX.[3]

[edit] Sabrina Online

Sabrina Online is a monthly webcomic starring Sabrina Skunk. Sabrina the character began as an effort to create a persona very distinct from Schwartz’s previous creations, many of whom bore close resemblance to Amy the Squirrel[1] In 1996 Schwartz gave Sabrina her own comic strip, Sabrina Online. The comic gained a wider audience when the publication Amiga Format started to serialize it in their readers’ letters section Mailbag. When Amiga Format stopped publishing in 2000, its final issue contained a special interview conducted with Sabrina via her creator, Schwartz.[4] Sabrina Online continued, though, and in 2001 the comic won the Web Cartoonists' Choice Award for Best Romantic Comic.[5]
