Ernst-Ulrich von Kameke was born in Potsdam, 1926.
From 1949 to 1954 was Kantor and Organist in Heidelberg. In 1954 as organist at the Friedenkirche in Düsseldorf. In 1959 was called by the St Petri Church in Hamburg as Organist and Choir Director. In 1962 was nominated Professor at the Hochschule fuer Musik in Hamburg.
