Estadio Deportivo Cali / Estadio del Deportivo Cali (Deportivo Cali stadium) or Palma Seca Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium home of the Deportivo Cali Association, a football (soccer) club from Santiago de Cali, Colombia (South America). It is the biggest football stadium in Colombia. Soccer matches, concerts and other events have taken place before and after the official opening, but they were not considered as important for the inauguration as the Colombia vs. Nigeria soccer match played on November 19, 2008, with the local team's victory of 1-0.[1] The stadium is located in the highway connecting Cali and Palmira, close to Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport. The newly built stadium, with capacity for 53,347, was the first and only successful stadium project of many that were planned in Colombia, including stadiums for Los Millonarios, Atlético Nacional, and Independiente Medellín, which were withdrawn due to economic reasons.

The construction of Deportivo Cali's stadium was paralyzed and geographically shifted (250mts) after remains belonging to a Pre-Columbian ancient indigenous culture were found.[2]
