History of the political divisions of China

An Ethnic township (Chinese: 民族乡; pinyin: mínzúxiāng) is a fourth-level administrative unit designated for ethnic minorities of political divisions in China. It is not considered to be autonomous and does not enjoy the laws pertaining to the larger ethnic autonomous areas such as Autonomous regions, Autonomous prefectures, Autonomous counties and Autonomous banners.
