The term is used more and more in the feed industry where it refers to a healthy balance of the micro-flora in the gastrointestinal tract.[1]
Bacteritic preparations intended for correction of biocenosis of the mucous membranes may be referred to as eubiotics.[2]
Feed additives such as probiotics, prebiotics, essential oils and organic acids are often referred to as eubiotics.
