Euslinux is an operating system based on Debian. Euslinux is free and open source software and is available on the internet. This project is sponsored by the Vice- Councillor of “Política Lingüística del Gobierno Vasco.”
The program has been translated to euskera, and as mentioned before, is based on Debian and another piece of free and open source software called GNOME. Also there are new versions of EusLinux (i.e.: EusLinux 10.00, OpenOffice.org, etc.) The ones sponsoring this project are: Elhuyas, UZEI and Zudan. Iñaki Larrañaga is a Basque programmatic that has translates many of the free software mentioned before to euskera.
