The Evangelical Presbyterian Church is denomination that is found in Northern Ireland. It broke away from Irish Presbyterian Church (now called the Presbyterian Church in Ireland) in 1927. A number of congregations left their mother church after a Professor Davey at the Union Theological College who had been charged of five counts of heresy was acquitted [1].
