Evenflo traces its roots back to the 1920 founding of the Pyramid Rubber Company in Ravenna, Ohio. Initially, the company was a manufacturer of products related to baby feeding. In 1995, Evenflo Company, Inc. was created through the merger of Evenflo Juvenile Products and Evenflo Juvenile Furniture Company (formerly known as Questor Juvenile Furniture Company).

In 2004, Harvest Partners another private equity firm, acquired the company. Harvest sold Evenflo to Weston Presidio in 2007.[2]

Evenflo manufactures a variety of baby care and other products for children. The company's core products include a line of car seats, strollers, portable play yards. The company produces a line of products related to baby feeding, including breast pumps, nursing pads and storage products for breast milk.

Among the company's other products are pacifiers, baby cups and high-chairs as well as bed and bath products and playtime products (i.e., doorway jumpers, swings, gates).
