F.A. Euro is an American soccer team based in Brooklyn, New York that plays in the Premier Development League ("PDL"). Originally called F.A. Euro, the club merged with the New York Magic a W-League women's team in January 2013.[1]

History[edit]

For the past decade, Joe Balsamo has been conducting summer soccer camps and tours throughout the country. Originally known as F.A. Eurocamp, the goal of the program was to bring top European coaches to the United States to train American players and to expose them to the European soccer model. After expanding the program to include camps in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida, Balsamo added a new service to the F.A. Eurocamp catalog, tours. On these tours, F.A. Eurocamp escorted American teams through Europe and South America as they played exhibition matches against youth teams at the world’s top clubs. F.A. Euro New York was announced as a semi-professional men's team when the PDL released its 2013 schedule.[2]

Stadia[edit]

The Magic play at the Aviator Sports Center in Brooklyn, New York. The venue can seat approximately 5,000 fans.[3]
