[edit] Academic Offerings

Fairfield University offers 33 undergraduate majors and 30 graduate degree programs, as well as more than 350 credit and 250 non-credit courses in University College. The Fiske Guide to Colleges recognized Fairfield's Strongest Programs to include Biology, International Studies, Art History, Religious Studies, Sociology, Accounting and Finance, and Mechanical Engineering. The innovative[citation needed] New Media: Film, Television, and Radio major is the first of its kind among Jesuit universities and features an annual CineFest Fairfield at the Fairfield Community Theatre showcasing student work created in production courses.
