Fairmont San Jose Hotel

Fairmont San Jose Hotel is a large luxury high-rise hotel in the center of San José, California. It has groom service at the entrance. It faces the water fountain in Plaza de César Chávez.
The rooftop level features a swimming pool and associated deck with a specially designed windscreen to create an acceptable microclimate for sunbathing and swimming. The analysis of this rooftop environment was carried out in the early planning stages using a computer simulation of air flow in the presence of the then existing and proposed Fairmont structures.[citation needed]
