Farwell (formerly, Farwell Station and Stonybrook) is an unincorporated community in Alameda County, California. It is located 3.5 miles (5.6 km) north-northeast of downtown Fremont,[2] at an elevation of 213 feet (65 m). Its ZIP code is 94536 and its area code is 510.
The name is in honor of James Dumaresy Farwell, land owner.[2]
