Fault Lines
Fault Lines, a documentary series produced and broadcasted by Al Jazeera English, is the channel's flagship program about the Americas.
Josh Rushing, Zeina Awad and Sebastian Walker host the series, currently enjoying its third season.
Rushing filmed two episodes in Mexico (Mexico: Impunity and Profits[1] and Mexico's Hidden War[2]) and third in Colombia, Colombia's Gold Rush[3] for the season.
Awad's coverage brought her to India where she reported on US pharmaceutical companies conducting clinical research abroad.[4] She also traveled to Puerto Rico, projected to be the world’s slowest growing economy, to analyze the economic policies imposed on its people.[5] Her final piece this season explores the growing gap between the wealthiest 1% of Americans and the rest of society.[6]
The team includes: Mat Skene (Program Editor), Jeremy Young (Senior Producer), Elizabeth Gorman (Producer), Andrea Schmidt (Producer), Sweta Vorha (Producer), and Warrick Meade (Editor).
It is syndicated by Free Speech TV in the United States.
