Fe Amorsolo was born as Amparo Abuyen Pilapil on 17 January 1927 in the barangay of Guadelupe Viejo in Makati City, Philippines[citation needed]. She is a pre-war Filipina actress who made a debut via Carmelita in 1938 under the production company, Parlatone Hispano Filipino.
