The Federación Panameña de Fútbol is the governing body of football in Panama. Panama was a founding member of the Confederacion Norte Centroamerican y del cariba de futbolin 1961. Panama first entered the World Cup in 1994 and reached the qualifying tournament second round at the 1992 Olympic games.
