Federal Correctional Complex, Allenwood

Allenwood Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) is a United States Federal Bureau of Prisons facility located on U.S. Route 15 in Gregg Township, Union County, Pennsylvania.[1][2] The prison, at the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains, is on U.S. Route 15, 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Allenwood, 11 miles (18 km) south of Williamsport, and 197 miles (317 km) north of Washington, DC.[3] It is near White Deer.[4]

It consists of three facilities, all for male inmates:

  • FCI Allenwood Low - A low security Federal Correctional Institution
  • FCI Allenwood Medium - A medium security Federal Correctional Institution
  • USP Allenwood - High security United States Penitentiary
