In 2001, free computers were provided by UNI Media & Entertainment and FNV Mondiaal.

Pappu Verma was its president from 1997. There apparently was a different president in 2002-2003, and in 2004, the president was Dharmesh Tiwari. The secretary of the union is Dinesh Chaturvedi, who is an audiographer and has been a part of the film industry for over 3 decades.
