- The cover of the album features a gun being held to the head of Tiny Tim. He later attempted to sue the band, but gave up after discovering they did not have any money. On the latest release of this album, the image of Tiny Tim has been removed from the cover.[citation needed]
- Pantera covered "The Badge" for the soundtrack to the film The Crow.
- Machine Head covered "Alan's on Fire" as a b-side to their 1994 single "Old".
- Turbonegro covered "Just To Get Away" in a live version from 1995 on the second disc of their Small Feces box set released in 2005 and uses a riff from "Plastic Bomb" in their song "I Got Erection".
