Ferenc Novák (Slovene: Franc Novak, Prekmurian: Ferenc Novak) (December 7, 1791 – January 21, 1836) was a Hungarian Slovene Roman Catholic priest and writer.

Born was in Tešanovci. His parents was pettynoblemen János and Julianna Novák. Ordained priest by September 10, 1815. 16 months was chaplain in Beltinci, administrator in Martjanci in September, 1816. By March 1817 priest of Turnišče.

Novák gathered the old folk songs of the Slovene March. His work was also used by Stanko Vraz.
