| Description |
English: Atlas Mills, Bolton Very large mill complex owned by the Musgrave textile and engineering dynasty. The Northern Mill Engine Society were holding their last steam open day in Atlas No. 3 Mill (spot the cloud of steam). The site was redeveloped by Wm Morrison and the chimney was dropped by the late Fred Dibnah. The NMES are now in the old cotton store nearby and 2007 saw the first public steamings in 16 years. |
